Crafted from 33 layer folded damascus steel and a VG10 alloy core, this knife delivers an impressive edge, strength and stain resistance. Each knife is hand sharpened and fitted with a mahogany handle. Proudly handmade via several hands, the work is divided and performed by the blacksmith, blade sharpener and patterning artisan. These knives are used by an astonishing 90% of Japanese chefs, famous for their supreme sharpeness and brilliance. It is said the human soul dwells within a knife of this caliber.
